If you’re like most people, your gut reaction to change is to run from it or fight it. Change is uncomfortable. Change is challenging. Change “hurts”.
But, what if we examine change from a different perspective? What if we look at change as an opportunity – an opportunity to adapt, innovate and overcome – and to perhaps, better ourselves as well as our lives?
Sounds good, right? We can do that. We should want to do that!
Adapt – make something suitable for a new use or purpose; modify
Innovate – make changes in something established; especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products
Overcome – succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty
So, what are you going to do next time change comes knocking on your door?
Turn around and run away…
…or…
…adapt, innovate and overcome?
I know what choice I’d make.
How ’bout you?
