Yes, it’s been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that. I could make all kinds of excuses about the new job I started and the change in hours, but there is no excuse. I have been lazy. I am a procrastinator. Enough said.
All that changes today…So, here goes…
Everyone loves a good mystery. The kind of “who-done-it” that requires you pay attention to the tiniest of details, twists of fate…well, basically every “fact” or bit of knowledge that can be had or learned along the way to finding the resolution.
Does that sound familiar? Isn’t that what occurs in our daily lives or throughout our entire lifetime?
Aren’t we always trying the figure out “things” like “how do I get ahead”, “how’d I get myself into such a mess”, or maybe “how do I get myself out of this mess” along with many others?
You bet we are!
But why??
Will we really ever know or understand “why”? Do any of the “things” we’re attempting to resolve really matter?
Let me ask you this – What really matters to you?
My younger brother tells me “that at the end of the day, all that matters to me are the people that lay their heads on their pillows at night in my house”.
Wouldn’t you agree that’s a great place to start?
So, what else matters?
How’s your relationship with God?
That matters. That matters to Him and you.
And finally…there’s at least one more thing that matters…
YOU! YOU MATTER!

Always remember –
Family matters. Your relationship with God matters. You matter.
Keep those 3 a priority in your life and all those other “things” will resolve themselves over time. Really, they will!
